Mickel Installed as President of the Chattanooga Bar Association

Timothy L. Mickel, a partner in the Chattanooga law firm of Evans Harrison Hackett PLLC, was installed as President of the Chattanooga Bar Association at the Association’s 116th Annual Meeting on January 22, 2014. Mr. Mickel was sworn in by the Honorable W. Neil Thomas, Judge of the Circuit Court of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
Mr. Mickel graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1992 and from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1995. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Mickel clerked for the Honorable David R. Farmer and the Honorable Holly M. Kirby, Judges of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section. He has practiced law in Chattanooga since 1996. He is licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Georgia. He has served on the Chattanooga Bar Association’s Board of Governors since 2009. Mr. Mickel also currently serves as President of the Justices Ray L. Brock, Jr. and Robert E. Cooper American Inn of Court and is a past Chair of the Board of the American Red Cross of Greater Chattanooga. The primary focus of Mr. Mickel’s practice is litigation in both state and federal courts.
